About the Journal

Dhirham: Journal of Sharia Economics, Banking and Finance is a scientific, peer-reviewed journal published by CV. Scientia Litera. Dhirham is issued twice a year, in June and December, and serves as a scholarly platform for researchers, academics, practitioners, and public audiences who have a deep interest in the academic development of Islamic Economics, Islamic Business, and Islamic Banking and Finance. This journal started publishes since 2026.

Dhirham welcomes diverse methodological approaches—quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods—in addressing contemporary issues, theoretical debates, and practical challenges within the field of Islamic economics and business. It accepts contributions from both Islamic and non-Islamic countries, particularly where Islamic economic values are practiced, explored, or being integrated into public and private sectors. What distinguishes Dhirham from other journals in the same field is its strong emphasis on interdisciplinary perspectives, combining insights from economics, finance, business, and ethics under the framework of Maqasid al-Shariah (the objectives of Islamic law). Dhirham not only provides space for empirical studies but also encourages the development of new conceptual models and contemporary Islamic economic thought, especially those that contribute to sustainability, digital transformation, and inclusive development.
