About the Journal

The Journal of Public Health Science and Practice (JPHSP) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal dedicated to publishing original research articles, literature reviews, policy analyses, and innovative practices in the field of public health. The journal is published by CV. Scientia Litera in collaboration with STIKES Sukma Wijaya Sampang. The journal aims to serve as a medium for the dissemination of professional, evidence-based knowledge and practices to support improvements in public health.

JPHSP accepts scientific manuscripts that contribute to the development of public health theory, policy, and practice, particularly those related to improving the quality of health services, maternal and child health, health administration, and community empowerment.

The scope of JPHSP includes:

1. Public Health Management;
2. Maternal and Child Health;
3. Midwifery and Reproductive Health;
4. Health Promotion and Health Behavior;
5. Community Empowerment in the Health Sector;
6. Primary Health Care;
7. Health Information Systems;
8. Public Health Education and Development; and
9. Community-Based Preventive and Promotive Health Programs.

Journal of Public Health Science and Practice (JPHSP) is published twice a year, with two regular issues released in December and July. Manuscripts are accepted throughout the year, and articles that successfully pass the peer review and editorial review process will be scheduled for publication in the next issue.

Journal of Public Health Science and Practice (JPHSP) implements a fully Open Access Policy, allowing all published articles to be freely accessed, read, downloaded, and shared by the public without any subscription or payment barriers. To encourage the equitable dissemination of scientific knowledge, JPHSP implements an affordable Article Processing Fee (APC) of IDR 50,000 for Indonesian authors and USD 5 for international authors. All stages of publication—including manuscript submission, peer review, editorial processing, and online publication—are provided completely free of charge to authors. By adopting this open and non-commercial publication model, the journal aims to promote global knowledge exchange and ensure that high-quality public health research is accessible to all.
